How things are made

Hi, Come in and take a tour of the studio, and see how this Nature Landscape Artist creates a masterpiece

It all begins with kiln dried wood and cotton canvas.  I build all of my canvases from scratch, so they are sturdy and tight.

The joints on the canvas frame are nailed and glued, and three coats of Gesso is painted on the canvas face before any art painting begins.

Canvas Sizes

Canvas measurements vary for each painting in the studio.  Please refer to the photo to the right to understand these measurements

Example:  This painting is 46" long X 17 1/4" tall X 1 1/2" in depth.

Once a painting is created it goes to a professional photographer.

There, it is photographed in high resolution.

From this photo file, Limited Edition prints are made using the Giclee Printing method for the highest resolution, Archival prints.

This print is

30" x 60"

"Cape Perpetua"

This wonderful print is on canvas.

The same Giclee Archival Printing process is used, the canvas is then stretched on

a frame.

Any painting of mine can be printed on canvas within the Limited Edition Series.
